Miriam KulickI was always a friendly kid. When I was young, my sister, and parents, along with a slew of relatives and close friends, would descend upon the Beach & Tennis Club in Mt. Vernon, New York. My mom would tell me that I would go up to strangers, stick my face in front of them, and say, “Hello.”

Of course, nowadays life has changed a bit, but I like to think, for the most part, I am still a people person, who wants others to feel included.

Hello All,

I’ve been a bit remiss filling you in, yet here goes:

I did a live staged reading (finally! after a long Covid hiatus) at the Actors Temple in NYC. JennyLyn Bader’s Purim Spiel for Grown Ups. I played Queen Esther.

For over a year I’ve been an actor for two wonderful NYC based playwriting groups; 29th St. Collective and Pages. Both have been on weekly Zoom platforms. The actors read the playwrights works in progress. Many go on to productions all over the country.

I wrote (after being accepted) and performed my monologue Waiting, for Roland Tec’s NYC based, Some1Speaking, via Zoom.

On August 6th I will be interviewed and reading/performing from my new hybrid memoir narration story at Suze Allen’s Memoir Church, 4 PM EDT. Via Zoom. Click here to sign up

I am an Initiating Artist with the Jewish Theatre Circle of NYC. We do a little bit of sharing of our theatrical work, yet we are predominately educationally focused.

Stay cool & healthy everyone. Happy Summer!!

Happy Fall!

Hello all,

It’s been quite a while since I last posted. Yet in the past year or two I have been an actor actively participating in a number of New York based online playwriting groups, as well as concentrating on my own writing. TBA as I chug along.

I have also been taking enriching courses through the Tibet House and Stanford Center for Compassion & Altruism. It makes my reading to second graders and to an amazing group of boys who live in an orphanage in Honduras, working on their english skills, even more heart opening.

I hope you’re all planting wonderful seeds.

Happy Fall!
